I am beyond excited to announce that the grant recipients were announced for the Redwood City ‘Library Takeover’ program this past week, and our “Autism Goes to Work” project has been selected as one of their 2020 events!  This coming April 18th, we will be hosting a career expo on the grounds of the downtown branch of the RWC Library to connect capable and talented, yet under utilized job candidates on the autism spectrum with small-to-medium sized businesses in the mid-peninsula region looking for loyal, eager and proficient employees.

The one-day event will also include featured autistic entrepreneurs and speakers from local companies already benefiting from hiring uniquely talented employees. Come and check out our Meet ‘n greet booths showcasing the beautiful arts, works and foods of local entrepreneurs created by adults with differing abilities, and enjoy an interactive Q&A.  Additionally, the event will include booths showcasing the beautiful arts, works and foodstuffs of local entrepreneurs on the autism spectrum who have successfully created their own opportunities.
